An Adventurous Oceanside Engagement for an Adventurous Couple
Stephanie and William are my dream clients. Before meeting them, I learned that Stephanie, who is clearly a beauty on the outside, was smart, driven, adventurous, and artistic. She is a blogger (check her out here!) and will be starting her own jewelry line. Stephanie spoke in such a way of her soon-to-be-husband that I instantly couldn’t wait to capture their love for an oceanside engagement. She and William are both abundantly creative in their own ways and thrive on the mysteries of travel and adventure. Before I even met them in person, I knew I would love them.
When planning their engagement session, we dreamt of the most epic spots on the Island of Oahu, where they live. A few places came to mind like vast, expansive views from Sandy Beach and the tumultuous and rocky cliffs of Lanai Lookout. When the day came, the sun came out but for much of our time together, but was diffused by the prettiest slight overcast sky at times. These two were naturals and I could genuinely feel the love straight through the lens.

Stephanie wore two outfits: an off the shoulder lace romper and a simple ocean green maxi dress, both absolutely stunning. William looked quite handsome and wore complementing neutral colors for a casual look that paired flawlessly with the breathtaking ocean scene before them.
We were just walking around, snapping photos left and right, and I could tell these newly engaged loves both forgot the camera was around at times which is my goal as a photographer. The nose scrunches, big smiles, and effortless interactions kept the day flowing so well.
I could not be more excited to photograph their big day later this year. They plan to say ‘I do’ at Dillingham Ranch, a favorite venue of mine, and I know their wedding day will be both meaningful and beautiful!
