Destination Hawaii Wedding Photographer | Hami + Brandon’s Sunset Beach Wedding
“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” -Anais Nin
This shoot was extra special for me. Hami and Brandon are my good friends from our time at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I couldn’t be happier to hear that these two soul mates were tying the knot, and when they reached out to see if I would photograph their big day, I gave a resounding, “Yes!” I was honored that they chose me to capture this moment for them.
Currently, they are both living and working in Japan, so it was really great to see them and catch up. We picked up with our friendship right where we left off, and it was like nothing had changed—except for the fact that my two amazing friends were getting married!!
Let’s do this!
They chose the Loulu Palm Estate House as their venue. Large, vibrant lawns, a secluded beachfront, and of course rows of palms create an intimate spot for a romantic wedding. And the photo opportunities are endless! I loved the old vintage Hawaiian home sitting on the property with the expansive tropical mountains majestically standing behind. What a beautiful retreat!
I loved seeing the two of them together. From the morning getting-ready shots to the First Look to the ceremony and reception, unfading smiles covered both of their faces throughout the day. These two were meant to be! I had a blast capturing all of the details for them, then I stayed until the end to dance the night away in celebration with them. Congratulations, Brandon and Hami! Thank you for asking me to be a part of your big day! I wish you both the very best. Until next time!
