For this playful vintage session, we grabbed a spot right on the Seine River. It was more gorgeous that you could imagine. In late spring, the weather is pure perfection and sunlight provided the impeccable lighting and mood for the shoot; an absolute dream for this Paris Lifestyle Photographer!
Model and blogger Miss Alba at Paris and Petticoats is such a kind and incredibly talented lady! We had a blast doing the shoot together. I love her unique work as a vintage model who showcases photos reminiscent of popular pin-up posters from the 40s and 50s. For this shoot, she slipped into a cute peppermint striped dress and red heels from aeterie. The colors matched the vintage feel and popped against the natural-looking background. She is amazing at knowing when and how to give a little smirk, wink or smile. Her long lashes batted for the camera with an allure that could captivate any audience.
The Perfect Parisian Afternoon
For an air of Paris ambiance, we set up shop in front of Notre Dame for a few more photos. I’m obsessed with her cute little shades that flipped open as she focused keenly on her subject in the distance. Since she is a model, I rarely needed to do any coaching or posing—she looked so relaxed and confident in front of the lens (which might be why I couldn’t stop clicking away as she drew me in with one charming pose after another).
After Notre Dame, we headed over to the Shakespeare and Company bookstore, which has a vintage storefront and a fantastic collection of books on display right outside! We used those for a few mischievous poses.
This beautiful model took me back in time with her charismatic personality and charm. I didn’t want the session to end! Thanks for such a fun experience, Miss Alba Banana. Until next time!
Capturing this fun vintage photo shoot as a Paris Lifestyle Photographer was such an honor! What a beauty Miss Alba truly is!
