I could have taken the whole day for this family session. The day was too perfect to stay inside. I met the family at Sandy Beach Park on the shores of Oahu for breathtaking views. The couple has a beautiful little girl, so I made sure to pick a location with plenty of space for her to roam and explore. Based on how these pictures turned out, I’d say she loved it. Behind them, fields of green grass, rolling hills, and sprawling trees created the perfect backdrop. Partly cloudy skies always lend themselves to the best photos, and the sun cooperated with us the whole time. The family walked around and found a few trails and little alcoves to explore while I followed inconspicuously behind, clicking away to get those priceless candid shots as their Hawaii Family Beach Photographer.
A Family Full of Love
The family’s interactions reveal their close-knit bond with each other. Mom and Dad adore their little girl, and she responds back with never-ending giggles and smiles. As the gently rolling waves lapped onto the sandy beach, she wiggled her little toes in and piled the sand high to watch the waves knock it over again. My favorite part of the session was when she pretended to be the photographer. She asked her parents to stand on the beach, hand-in-hand. She proceeded to take photos (very good ones at that!) of them smiling back at her. Maybe we have an aspiring photographer on our hands!
