Sign up Jessie and Leon as wedding models! These two are stunning together and so photogenic. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them. They traveled to Hawaii from Taiwan to take their engagement/wedding portraits. Jessie wore a gorgeous dress from BHLDN that looked like it was made just for her. It was covered in simple, pretty beading with a sheer V-shaped back. The dress was perfect for these beachy photos. And I loved her updo, too, with her bangs pulled back from her face. Halfway through the shoot, she let her lovely locks down to blow in the breeze. So romantic! And Leon looked extra sharp, too, in his subtly-striped suit and bowtie.
The Most Beautiful Backdrop on Oahu
We went out to Sandy Beach and Lanai Lookout—which you may have noticed are my favorite locations in Oahu. I just love the bright blue water and how the waves gently crash into the volcanic rock. The distinct layers and swirls of texture on the rock create the most amazing backdrops. White bridal gowns look so good against it because of the sharp contrast—brides really stand out in the best way possible. The sun was out for this session, so there was an added glimmer and glow to all of these images.
Jessie and Leon are THE sweetest couple ever. I loved meeting them, and I really could’ve spent all day out there with them. They were so easy to talk to, and I felt an instant connection to them. I am so happy for these two as their big day approaches. I truly wish you the very best, friends! Congratulations on your engagement!
