You can see this beautiful contemporary Malibu California elopement featured on Magnolia Rouge here.
Straying from the ocean views that I (fortunately) have for many of my couples, I adored this completely gorgeous and refreshingly contemporary Malibu California elopement. Taken at one of the most desirable Malibu wedding venues, the famed Malibu Rocky Oaks, we felt as if we were on a cloud with the sweeping views over the mountains. Ann wore a stunning and sleek Houghton NYC gown with a high neck, long sleeves, and a low back. Perfectly complimenting her modern style was our handsome groom who donned a white jacket.
Malibu Rocky Oaks provided the perfect backdrop with the picturesque front entrance, almost reminiscent of Tuscany. The ceremony space was simple with light foraged blooms as decor. Undoubtedly, one of the most incredible details of the day came from the STUNNING table for two on the helipad, overlooking the mountains, as designed by Joy Proctor. I mean, just look at that view! As these two were strolling around the property, a peek of sun touched the mountaintops and created a warm glow over the tablescape… so romantic. In tones of mauve and creme, the florals byPlenty of Petals were unstructured and so pretty. The invitations were just as contemporary and modern as the couple: black velvet with gold foil? Consider this a new favorite!
