The obvious love and genuine fun these two share made capturing their engagement session an absolute joy. Stephanie and Kevin came all the way to Hawaii from Jakarta to celebrate their engagement and will be back again soon in December for their big day. They met through connections in the company that Kevin’s family owns and are so excited to start their life together. That excitement is so pronounced throughout this session. It brings a smile to my face looking back through their collection, as I can still hear the sound of their laughter combined with the sound of lapping waves fill the air.
Sandy Toes and Salty Sea Air
It was the perfect day when we met for their engagement session. The overcast sky added such a dreamy element to their images, perfectly highlighting the love they share. We started our adventure, strolling along the beach. I wanted to capture them in their natural environment, relaxed and laughing, sharing sweet moments and stealing kisses. At one point, Kevin ran up to Stephanie, flung her in the air and twirled her around. Sand and elated laughter filled the air. It’s moments like these that I live for as an engagement photographer!
As the day progressed, the images just got more and more touching. We incorporated a gathering of colorful balloons, highlighting the fun these two have together. Initially, they wore matching button-downs and white shorts. However, towards the end of the session, changing into more formal wear; Stephanie in a white flowing gown, and Kevin in khaki slacks and a white button down. It was the perfect ensemble for a beach shoot. As we explored the beach, we happened upon a congregation of weather-word drift-wood. It was the perfect spot to stop and get some romantic images of Stephanie, capturing the beauty that only one in love can possess.
It was the perfect day for a Hawaii Engagement Session. So much joy and laughter filled the air as we captured these memories together!
